Watchmaking

I separate my watch work into 'watchmaking' and 'watch modding'. I define watchmaking as truly designing a novel component of a watch, whereas watch modding is mostly assembling your selected parts from AliExpress to hopefully create a unique combination, or at least one you like. While I could consider the custom dial in the Tennessee watch novel-enough to be classed watchmaking, I've left it in watch modding, as the effort required to make a custom dial is less than I would say merits the status of watchmaking. Here is where I try to make something truly mine.
